What is a rackable pallet?
A rackable pallet is designed for storing goods on warehouse racks. It can support loaded goods on open beam racks and standard racking systems while keeping good strength and stability. The most common type of rackable pallet is a 3-runner and 6 runner pallet.
What is the difference between rackable and non-rackable pallets?
The main difference is whether the pallet is suitable for rack use. Rackable pallets perform best in rack load applications. Non-rackable pallets, such as stackable pallets, usually offer stronger static and dynamic load performance and are mainly used for floor stacking, handling, or transport.
Can every heavy-duty pallet be used on warehouse racks?
No. A heavy-duty pallet only means it has a higher load capacity. It does not always mean it is suitable for rack use. For example, a heavy-duty pallet that cannot be reinforced with steel bars is usually not a good choice for long-term use on warehouse racks.
When do you need steel reinforced rackable pallets?
We suggest choosing steel-reinforced pallets whenever for rack use. For our pallets, some models can still reach a 1000 kg rack load without steel tubes, but the steel-reinforced version is the more reliable choice for rack storage. It helps the your pallet stay more stable and reduces the risk of deformation over time.
